Legenden aus dem Künstlerleben.

Corinth, Lovis
The edges are bumped and there are two short tears, one at the head of the front cover, the other along the outer edge. Both have been repaired with acid free tape. A much older closed tear on back paste down has also been repaired. It's small and the tape hasn't lifted, though it has browned. he spine has been reinforced, very neatly, with brown paper, which in fact matches the covers. Foxing throughout. Not a pretty copy, but not that ugly either, and treated with respect will easily last another 100 years. "Lovis Corinth - 1858-1925- was a German artist and writer whose mature work as a painter and printmaker realized a synthesis of impressionism and expressionism." (Wikipedia)
