Teddy Bear Coalman: a Story for the Very Young

Worthington, Phoebe and Selby
The jacket is chipped along the edges, with four closed tears on the back and with loss to the head at the spine and on either side front and back. Thanks to this loss, the title has the 'T' in Teddy missing. There is also a small chip missing at the tail of the spine. The hinge opposite the half title page has been reinforced with acid free tape and there is a neat ownrship inscription on the front end paper and a very small stain on the back one, else clean and unmarked. The book's main sin is that the hinge towards the middle of the book is cracked, making the binding very shaky, though the pages are still firmly attached. I've called it fair. An optimist might prefer to call it not quite a good copy. Unpaged. "Teddy Bear Coalman spent his day delivering coal on his cart, drawn by his horse that went, clippety-CLOP, clippety-CLOP! And as this was pre Thatcherism, Teddy Bear Coalman did not work Sundays and holidays.
