The coveris rubbed and shelf stained; there is what appears to be a brown cigarette stain on the tail of the front hinge and an ink stain on the edge of the title page, which could be a printer's fault and an ownership inscription on the front end paper. Internally the book is clean and the binding solid. Includes a fold out map of Storyville New Orleans, much creased and with two small holes where it has been folded.
