The jacket has a short tear at the head of the spine and another on the front flap; the front paste down has a birthday dedication hidden by the front flap written in biro and the worst fault is two nasty creases on page 143/144. The damage is mostly towards the blank space before the hinge, but it does affect part of the writing and of the rump of "Rising Fast". Else an excellent copy.
