I do not think this voume has ever been opened. On the verso of the half title page: The Second and Ninth Satires, some paragraphs of the Sixth, and a few lines in other Satires, are not included in this Edition. "The last great Roman satirist, Juvenal (c. 55 - 127 AD) became famous for his savage wit and biting descriptions of life in Rome. Little is known of Juvenal's life beyond his satire. His name only appears once, in a poem written to him by his friend, Martial."
