The jacket, now protected, has loss to the head of the spine and on the outer top right corner. The jacket has left a shadow on both end papers and a name has been covered with whiteout on the front end paper. Internally the book is immaculate. Fascinating read showing the changes in restaurant culture and given that it was wriiten when post war Britain was suffering austerity measures. Written as a handbook for anyone in the restaurant business.
