The leather is badly rubbed; there are two ownership signatures, one on the front end paper and another on the half title page and the author's portrait has a closed tear repaired with acid free tape.. The front hinge is exposed though the binding remains solid and there is intermittent foxing throughout. It's a nice copy spoiled by these blemishes. Good ++
