The front hinge is cracked and its length stained from masking tape which has dried and has been removed. The same applies to the final page in the book, an advertisement for Scheible's "Das Schaltjahr." The hinges of both sides of the ad suffer from the staining, the head of the page is partially detached and a short tear beautifully repaired with clear tape. There is intermittent foxing throughout the book. For all its faults it remains a very good, sound copy. Number 9 in Scheible's series "Das Kloster".
