The front of the jacket, now protected has a closed tear on the lower, outer edge, which is also creased; it also sports a very attractive bookseller's label at the tail. At the back of the jacket the tail has been damaged by insects. The front flap has been brutally, albeit neatly, price clipped, with the removal of quite a large rectangular piece. The front end paper has a neat ownership inscription and also suffers from insect damage, mildly at the head, more so at the tail. The fore-edge is foxed and the pages yellowing. Despite its faults, it remains a nice copy, clean and solid.
