The jacket first: the spine is missing and has been replaced by a computer printed title. The missing spine means that the front and back of the jacket have parted ways, as has the front flap. The head of the back suffers from loss at the outer edge as does the front, in this case the outer bottom edge. The jacket, held together by library sleaving, looks respectable despite its numerous faults. The preliminaries and end papers are foxed. The body of the book is in excellent condition with no markings or annotations.
