The corners are bumped and there's a short tear at the head of the spine, else immaculate. "Jim Ross was an officer of the Australian New Guinea Administrative Unit (ANGAU) during World War II. Based initially at Samarai/Milne Bay in East Papua, in July 1943 he was transferred to Kikori in the Purari District of Western Papua. In July 1944 Ross was again transferred, this time to Kairuku, Yule Island, in the Gulf of Papua.
