The jacket, although intact, is very badly rubbed and the head of the spine damaged. The body of the book is in excllent condition, clean, solid and unmarked apart from a neat ownership signature. Includes a dedication from the author: "Best wishes. Read slowly & ponder that which is written within. Isaac M. Thompson January 29th 1979" 219 pages, illustrated. Part biography, 'The Lyalla Waltz' is also a description and history of farming life in New Zealand around the Waimate district.
