The front of the jacket has been pasted onto the front board; tyhe title on the spine is faded, the edges chipped and the front board bowed. The book belonged to "The Rex Lending Library" . Its label is on the front paste down, its stamp on the front end paper. There are eleven date due stamps on the back end paper. There is intermittent foxing throughout. It's not a pretty copy, but the binding is very good and relatively clean. Not for the perfectionist. First British Edition.
