The leather edges are lightly chipped and there is intermittent light foxing throughout the three volumes. Volumes One and Two have minor remnants of what might have been the award label. Full leather, marbled end papers, with the Methodist Ladies College star on the front board of each volume, gilt edges; raised bands with gilt print and gilt decoration. A handsome set.
