A Journey with Colour A History of Queensland Opal 1869-1979

Cram, Len
368 pages, illustrated, includes bibliography, glossary and index. Overseas customers please note the book is heavy and will attract additional postage. Special Collector's Edition. A very small section at the head of the hinge is exposed; further down, along the same hinge, part of the front paste down has become attached to the title page, causing two short, closed tears. The problem appears to be a printing error, not brute force. It does nor affect the binding, which remains solid throughout and it is not particularly offensive. Apart from this fault, the book is in excellent condition, clean, unmarked and appears almost unread. 'A Journey with Colour A History of Queensland Opal 1869-1979' is Volume One of a four volume set covering the history of Australian opal mines. Its author, Len Cram, is a recognised world authority on Australian opals .
