The book has been rebound in grey boards, the original paper wraps salvaged and pasted onto the front board and the spine. The original front end paper is missing and the preliminbaries are damage at the edges, including the preface hinge, now reapired. Also repaired is a tear in the last page. None of these repairs impact on the print. Internally the book is very good condition, ready to do service for another 90 years. The author was correspondent with Canadian Forces in France.
