Oblobng format. The boards are a fawn colour, with faded patches of red, which suggests the cloth may have faded. The binding is shaky, but not horribly so, and the head's outer edge looks as though it has been lightly nibbled by a cat. Again the damage is not horrendous. Overall a nice copy, clean and unmarked. No publishing date, late 19th century, early twentieth. A series of black and white plates of Ayr and district. Title on front cover: 'Ayr and the Land of Burns. Bought in Burn's Cottage Alloway"
